Privacy
Beta waitlist privacy notice.
This notice explains the current Preski Labs waitlist in plain language. It is provisional and may be updated as the beta program and products develop.
Effective September 6, 2026
We use your information to manage product interest and beta invitations. We do not sell waitlist information.
Ask a privacy questionInformation we collect
The waitlist asks for your first and last name, email address, product interest, primary testing device, Wattbike access, adult or parent/guardian confirmation, beta-contact consent, and optional marketing consent.
Our systems may also create basic technical and security records, such as submission time, request status, and a privacy-reduced identifier used to detect spam or abuse. We do not need a child’s birth date, home address, school, or password for the waitlist, and you should not send that information.
How we use it
We use waitlist information to organize product interest, understand testing setups, select suitable testers, send beta or TestFlight information, respond to questions, protect the form from abuse, and improve planning.
We send general product news only when you separately choose the optional marketing consent. Joining the waitlist is not a guarantee of access.
Riders under 18
An adult must submit their own information. For a rider under 18, a parent or legal guardian must submit and use an email address they control. We do not knowingly ask a child to submit the waitlist form independently.
Service providers and invitations
Providers used to host and operate the website, database, security tools, and email may process information for Preski Labs under their own service terms. The current site infrastructure is hosted through Render.
If you are selected for an Apple-platform beta, we may use your email address to send or manage a TestFlight invitation. Apple then handles its part of the testing process under Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell waitlist information. We share it only with service providers needed to run the waitlist or beta, when you ask us to, or when reasonably required for security, legal compliance, or protecting rights and safety.
Retention and deletion
We plan to keep waitlist records while the requested product is being tested or prepared for launch, and for a reasonable period afterward to manage invitations, consent records, security, and follow-up. We review the list at least annually and delete information that is no longer reasonably needed.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information at any time by emailing preskiranch@gmail.com from the address you submitted. We may need to confirm that you control that address before completing a request.
Browser privacy signals and cross-site tracking
The current Preski Labs website does not use advertising cookies, behavioral advertising, or analytics tools that track your activity over time across unrelated websites. Because we do not perform that type of tracking, a browser “Do Not Track” signal does not change how this site handles your information.
We do not authorize advertising companies or other third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity over time across unrelated websites through this site. Hosting and security providers may process basic technical request information as needed to deliver and protect the service.
Security and changes
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect waitlist information, but no online service can promise absolute security. We may revise this notice when the beta program, service providers, or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated, and a material change will be communicated through a prominent website notice or email when appropriate.
